I can relate, again. I knew about SAD. Having a dog helped with that. I have to go outside. To bad he dislikes the rain as much as I do and it has been raining for weeks, it feels. Still my desk is next to a window to help with the sunlight. And as a woman over 50, I take extra vitamin D. And still....

Things will turn around in March.

Where do you live Debby? Are you also facing a grey and damp British winter? The rain is particularly depressing.

One of my life goals is to be able to spend January and February somewhere else, once my kids are older. It's one of my motivations to create a flexible working life.

Bring on March indeed. I love spring, when the trees are bursting with blossom and everything feels hopeful.

Looking at the positives we are only ten days away from the shortest day. I always get a little mental boost once that point is passed.

I live in the Netherlands. So winters are as grey and wet as in Britain. We often go skiing at the end of February. Oh well, maybe all the rain will help prevent a drought in Summer. Every cloud...

Oh, my parents lived in Scheveningen for several years so I'm familiar with Dutch weather. Same, yes!
